We are the experts. Between our two gemologists we have over 60 years of combined experience and a complete gemological laboratory on site. Every day we evaluate hundreds of diamonds for cut, clarity, and color, and we study each stone for potential to improve cut and clarity through recutting by an expert diamond cutter. We can pay you top dollar because we know how to maximize the value of your diamond and place it within our network of worldwide diamond buyers.

Diamonds are often submitted to an independent laboratory to be graded. The lab generates a report based on inspection that includes the weight of the diamond, its measurements, color, clarity, and information regarding proportions, polish, and symmetry. The most recognized laboratories are the Gemological Institute of America, the American Gemological Society, the International Gemological Institute, the European Gemological Institute, and HRD Antwerp.

If your diamond has a grading report, simply scan and email it to us and we will provide a price range we would be willing to pay based on that inspection.

No. Our gemologists are highly trained and can determine all of the details needed to make a firm offer once we inspect your diamond in person. If you have an appraisal or other detailed documentation, that is also helpful in determining a range of value.

Please note: an appraisal represents one individual's opinion, and it is not uncommon for appraisals to be inaccurate. For that reason we must inspect the item before making a cash offer. Once our offer is accepted, we will send a bank wire or overnight a check to you.

No. All of our evaluations are free of charge and there is absolutely no obligation to sell.

We buy primarily 1 carat and larger diamonds, however we will consider individual stones as small as one-half carat if they are of exceptional quality. No diamond is too large.

Yes. We also buy fine quality colored gemstones such as sapphire, ruby, emerald, tanzanite, alexandrite, and other unique stones. We buy finished jewelry, watches, and signed pieces from houses such as Tiffany, Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, David Webb, and Boucheron.

We can give you a price range that we would most likely offer. The more detail you can provide, the more accurate our estimate will be. Keep in mind that carat weight, clarity, color, cut, shape, and fluorescence all factor into determining value.

We offer several secure shipping solutions. The easiest is Registered US Mail, which can be insured for up to $25,000 and is the most commonly used method in the jewelry industry. In over 30 years we have never had a registered package go missing.

The second option is FedEx. We can provide instructions and a shipping label so your ring arrives overnight, insurable for up to $50,000. Once we receive your package, it is taken to a secure area where two employees open it under video surveillance. Your ring is then inspected and we contact you immediately with a firm cash offer.
